We were driving back to Lanesboro from a weekend of apple picking in SW Wisconsin, and admiring the scenery, when we agreed that we should be sharing the adventure and the beauty with everyone we know. A blog is the only practical way. So, we started brainstorming names. Jennifer had a couple of good ones, I contributed a goofy one or two, but then I asked "what is the purpose of the blog going to be"? I was thinking Communication / Keeping in touch / Information sharing - - corporate think stuff. Jennifer suggested that it should be a way to keep track of our time / to be sure that we're not wasting our retirement / an Accounting: A Retirement Accounting! Our Retirement Account! So here we go.

Our mission will be to recap, at least weekly, whatever significant events that have occurred since the previous posting. You can be the judges as to whether or not we're wasting our time.
